William E. Rodak, PhD, is the Vice President for International Accreditation, at ACGME-International LLC, as well as the Interim Senior Vice President, Department of Accreditation Committees at ACGME. ACGME-I was approved as a Singapore pilot by the ACGME Board of Directors in February 2009. Prior to his appointment in November 2009, he was the executive director of the Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine from 1991 to 2009 and was also the senior executive director for Group 1 which contained the Review Committees for Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Family Medicine from 2005 to 2009. Before joining the ACGME in 1991, Dr. Rodak worked as a gerontology and social policy consultant, a deputy commissioner on aging in the Department on Aging and Disability and director of research in the Department of Housing for the City of Chicago and psychologist for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C. |
