The ACGME does not endorse nor approve any data collection product from any independent software vendor. This non-endorsement policy addresses all data collection products, including but not limited to Program Information Forms (PIF's), Resident Case Logs, Outcome and Competency Software, and 360 Evaluation Software.
It has come to the attention of the ACGME that some vendors recently have been advertising that their product(s) are endorsed, comply, or meet all ACGME requirements. The ACGME does not make any of these determinations. The ACGME does not endorse any product or vendor. As to whether a product allows compliance or meets ACGME requirements, the Residency Review Committees (RRCs) determine whether a program's data and reports satisfy the requirements, not the method(s) or software used to collect it.
There are many vendors and products available for institutions and programs to use in aid of GME program administration. It is up to the program to determine whether the vendor and software meet the specific needs of the program and allow the program to comply with ACGME and Program requirements. The ACGME does not perform this function.
In situations where the ACGME and the RRCs do require specific data collection, such as WebADS, PIFs and Case Logs, the ACGME provides internet access to an ACGME database at no cost to the programs.
